This event is free! Featuring the Exuberant “Musical Fun With Leroy Hyson” from 11 a.m-2 p.m.!
Joyful, Interactive “Music That Moves Young Hearts & Minds,” Kids speak, dance, sing, act, play real & inflatable instruments, use pom-poms, jump ropes, hula hoops, wear leis & cool sunglasses!
Lauded Montgomery County educator, Pre-K to 8, Musician, Science Teacher Mr. Hyson Plays his Guitar George, sings his original songs with the Kids & their Families, instilling positive messages.
Hyson was honored by the Montgomery County Board of Education with its “Distinguished Service Award to Education” in 2014.

Experience 1945 when Station was built on its Victorian moorings. See President Harry Truman & Wife Bess on B&O R.R. Train Bidding Farewell to S.S. in 1953; pose next to Truman cut-out figure. Enjoy Station Agent Bob Davis’s R.R. Photos displayed, commencing when Davis took photos with his Brownie Camera in the 1940s.
