The Bell MultiCultural HS Griffiths invaded Coolidge High’s Frank Williams Center this evening in a fast-paced, entertaining game. Bell jumped out to a fast start, racing to 10 – 3 advantage. But Coolidge, led by the game’s leading scorer Dionte Herndon, rallied, using some hot shooting of their own to take a 37 – 30 lead at half time.
In the second half, Coolidge’s talent advantage began to show as their lead continued to grow throughout the game, finally ballooning to a 16 point bulge. The final score was 80 – 64. With the win, Coolidge HS Boys moved to 6 – 3 on the season while Bell drops to 3 – 5.
