Upper Georgia Avenue Main Street Executive Director Search and Community Survey

Monica Goletiani, President of the Brightwood Community Association, shared the following message regarding a job announcement for the upcoming Upper Georgia Avenue Main Street and a Community Survey.

Happy New Year!
The Center for Nonprofit Advancement is excited to launch our Executive Director search for the Upper Georgia Avenue (UGA) Main Street program. We understand and appreciate your deep roots in the community and therefore, we would greatly benefit from your organization sharing the UGA Executive Director Job Description (please see the attached document or link) with your network to enhance our ability to reach a diverse pool of potential candidates.

Upper Georgia Avenue Community Survey:
Survey Description: DC Main Street and National Main Street representatives will be conducting a resource team visit on January 30th in the Upper Georgia Avenue Main Street area. The visit will help in clarifying a vision for the neighborhood commercial district and highlight market opportunities for the Upper Georgia Avenue Main Street, based on community input and market data.  Your feedback is important to us and we would like to ask you to take 5 – 10 minutes to complete this online survey.  The results are confidential and being collected by the National Main Street Center.  Results will be shared at a community-wide public meeting on January 30th.
Finally, please save the date for our Community-Wide Meeting on January 30th at 6:30PM (additional details will be provided).
